3M Breathe Easy PAPR systems provide comfortable, efficient powered air protection. These systems are available in a wide range of headgear. They use interchangeable filters, cartridges and canisters to protect the wearer against gases, vapors and/or particulates. The BreatheEasy Turbo motor blower unit draws ambient air through a filter/cartridge/canister and supplies filtered air through the breathing tube to the headpiece
The high-performance Turbo Unit is the heart of every BreatheEasy. Powered by the battery, the belt worn motor/fan draws ambient air through the filter media and supplies the filtered air to the breathing tube and headpiece. The flow of cool filtered air makes breathing easier, eliminating the fatigue caused by the effort of inhaling through filters.
To build your complete BreatheEasy system, simply choose to purchase the Turbo Unit, and you will be further prompted to choose the items necessary to complete the system. This will include choosing the smart charger, the type of filters you wish, and your choice of a headpiece pack. The headpiece pack includes the breathing tube to attach to the turbo unit.
The Smart Charger is $180 and will recharge a fully discharged battery in 6 hours. No need to discharge your battery for recharging, the smart charger is self-monitoring. An automatic switch-over to Trickle Rate mode prevents overcharging your battery.
